Step 1: Navigate to Create Order Page
- After logging in, you'll be directed to the dashboard or main page of the Axis TMS.
- Look for the "Create Order" button/link and click on it to start creating a new order.
Step 2: Enter Customer Charges and Stop Details
- Select Charges:
- In the order creation form, locate the "Charges" section. Here you can specify the charges associated with the order, such as freight charges, handling fees, etc.
- Select Customer:
- In the "Customer" section, choose the customer for whom you're creating the order. You may have a dropdown menu or a search bar to help you find and select the customer.
- This is the customer that will be paying you for moving the freight.
- Add Stops (Pickup and Delivery):
- In the "Stops" section, you can add pickup and delivery stops. Click on the "Add Stop" button to start adding stops.
- For each stop, you'll need to provide the location details (address), date/time for pickup/delivery, and whether it's a pickup or delivery stop.
- Add Stop Details:
- For each stop, provide the following details:
- Date/Time: Specify the date and time for the pickup or delivery.
- Pieces, Weight, Commodity Type: Enter the number of pieces, total weight, and the type of commodity being shipped.
- DIMS: Enter the dimensions (length, width, height) of the shipment if required.
- Pickup or Delivery Number: Provide any relevant pickup or delivery numbers.
- Truck / Trailer Type: Select the appropriate truck or trailer type for the shipment.
- Notes: Add any special instructions or notes for the driver to view on the mobile app.
- For each stop, provide the following details:
- Add Multiple Stops:
- If the order has multiple stops, click on the "Add Stop" button again and repeat the process for each additional stop.
- Upload Confirmation or Sync with Broker API (if applicable):
- If you have confirmation documents or need to sync with a broker API, you can do so in this section. Upload any necessary files or integrate with the API as required.
- Confirmations:
- Confirmations will automatically be faxed or emailed upon order creation. You may see a confirmation checkbox or option to enable/disable this feature.
- Additional Custom Reference Slots:
- If there are any additional custom reference slots required for your order, you can fill them out in this section.
- Assign Shipment Groups:
- If you want to filter the shipment workflow by assigning the order to specific shipment groups, you can select or create these groups in this section.
Step 4: Review and Submit
- Once you have entered all the necessary details for the order, review the information to ensure accuracy.
- Click the "Submit" or "Create Order" button to finalize the order creation process.
Congratulations! You have successfully created an order in Axis TMS, including customer charges and stop details.
